MATIA in 2025

In 2025, Matia took me to so many places including:

• visiting sixteen Perth book clubs;
• events with the Centre for Stories, the State Library of WA, Nedlands Library, Kwinana Library, the Lane Bookshop and ABC Perth;
• Sydney for the Greek-Australian Writers Festival; 
• Melbourne for a Q&A at Readings State Library of Victoria;
• interviews on podcasts, in print and online; and
• the WA Premier’s Book Awards where Matia won the Award for an Emerging Writer (cue stunning gold sticker).

Thank you to UWA Publishing and everyone who has read, engaged with and supported Matia. I’m very grateful to be able to share my work in this way and looking forward to what 2026 will bring…💙🧿💙
